FAQ

What ages do you teach?

We are certified to teach all age groups from baby to senior. Some weeks are designated for specific age groups/levels due to weather. Parents never need to be in the water with their child no matter the age. Therefore, babies require private lessons.

How do I register?

Fill out the registration form above and wait for a response. You will receive an email to confirm that we have received your form. Forms are dealt with individually for booking efficiency so please have patience with us as we go through the process. Note that the form will only be viewable and fillable when registration opens on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 9am, and is kept turned off until that point.

Do I need to fill out individual registration forms for each of my children?

Yes, you need to fill out one registration form per child. Once you have filled out your first form your spot is secured in line so you do not need to worry about your typing speed, however do please fill them all out one after the other to make it easier for us.

Am I able to select my time slot?

There will be an opportunity to select all of the time slots that would work for you. As we go through the registration forms we will contact you to confirm which time works for you based on your selections as well as what is still available when we get to your form. Once we contact you, you will have 24 hrs to respond to confirm your time slot and send in your payment to complete the registration.  That said, if you are able to respond more quickly that would be greatly appreciated so that we can move on to the next person on the list as soon as possible.

When do I send in my payment?

You will be instructed to send in your payment once we have confirmed your time slot with you.  Your time slot is only officially reserved once we receive that payment.

Who will my child's instructor be?

Lorette Aquatic Club is run by Sophia and our instructors are siblings, Olivia and Jacob, both of whom are fully certified and capable water safety instructors. Your instructor will be confirmed when your time slot is finalized.

Can I register with a friend/sibling?

Yes, swimming is always more fun with a friend! We have added a section in the registration form where you can let us know the name of the friend you would like to partner with. Semi-private lessons are typically for two students around the same age/level, as we feel this is the ideal student to teacher ratio, however, we will take up to a maximum of 4 students if all parties are in agreement.

Can I register for semi-private lessons if my child does not have a partner?

Yes, if you are interested in semi-private lessons but do not have a partner in mind, simply indicate that in the appropriate field on the form, and we will find a suitable partner to pair with your child.

How long is each lesson?

Lessons are one hour per day for 5 days for Levels 1-6

and Canadian Paw Patrol.

Pre-school lessons are for 30 mins per day for 5 days.
